Below is the information provided by John Lawler who has arranged this series of evening meetings which focus on mindfulness and the community. We have attended earlier meetings and can report that they are interesting and engaging and, above all, fun. The topics covered have been fascinating, delivered by real enthusiasts, and it has been a real eye-opener to see how mindfulness and community can converge in all sorts of unexpected but thought-provoking ways.
Croydon HeartWorks is a series of 6 evenings running at Matthews Yard in central Croydon from Sept 24th to Oct 29th.
Every evening is compered, and contains songs and poems about Croydon together with talks on mindfulness and positive community action.
The final hour is live music in various styles. Entry is by donation to the Croydon Food Bank.
